The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, spoke today in Davos with the CEO of the Carlsberg Group, Cees’t Hart.
During the meeting, the parties expressed their satisfaction with the Carlsberg Group activities in Azerbaijan. The positive impact of the economic reforms carried out in Azerbaijan on the business climate was mentioned.
It was reported that the company has located 100% of barley processing in Azerbaijan and that the localization of barley processing used in beer production will soon be increased to 100%.
During the conversation, it was pointed out that the new plant, which will process barley used in the production of beer in Azerbaijan, will be launched in 2024 and new investments will be made in the country.
Cees’t Hart expressed his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for his support of Carlsberg Group activities in Azerbaijan.
