Dutchman Marc Josephus Jitta will succeed Annick Vincenty as head of brewing group Alken-Maes from July 1, the company said in a statement on Friday. The Opwijk production site, deemed incompatible with these ambitions, has been sacrificed and will close its doors this year.

Mr. Jitta was until now Director Horeca at Heineken Netherlands.
