Heineken organises ‘world-class’ viewing for Euro 2020 final

Football fans in the Kingdom were treated to a ‘world-class’ viewing of the UEFA Euro 2020 final by the Cambodian branch of one of the world’s leading brewers. The special, one-of-a-kind viewing was held on Sunday at the Baitong Hotel & Resort in Phnom Penh. It was one of  many viewing parties that were staged across Cambodia’s capital city that day.

Heineken built an outdoor-sized screen, which allowed its guests to watch the match between Italy and England from the safety and comfort of their own room’s balcony. “The best part about watching football is watching it together with friends and other fans. This has become challenging due to the current situation. However, with challenge comes opportunity,” the company said in a media release.

“We want the fans to celebrate the final match together,” it added. Inspired by the design of European opera houses, Heineken installed a huge screen in the middle of the hotel. The guests could see and hear each other cheering their favourite team all the way to the final whistle.

There were special Heineken Green Moments, complete with light shows and music, to celebrate key moments of the match. The experience was made complete with ice-cold bottles of Heineken and snacks.
