GSK partners with Pulpex to develop paper bottles

GSK Consumer Healthcare (GSKCH) has linked up with Pulpex to explore the use of paper bottles into its packaging. The healthcare giant joins brands including Diageo, Unilever and Pepsi to develop a scalable paper bottle that made from pulp and said to be recyclable in standard paper waste streams. Pulpex was established by venture management firm Pilot Lite and Diageo. GSKCH is exploring the design and pilot of Pulpex bottles for products from three brands within its portfolio: Centrum, Sensodyne and parodontax.
